The Zoo-Garden Train runs a continuous loop between the zoo's east gate and the Botanic Garden, covering the mile-and-a-half route in about twelve minutes with one stop at each end. The open-sided cars pass behind the bison range and cross the creek trestle, so it's worth riding even if you don't need to get anywhere. Trains depart every twenty minutes.
