The open ground at the center of the park, with the historic carousel turning at the middle of it. Seating and shade ring the edges, the food counter and gift shop are a few steps off, and the paths to each of the four areas all lead back here. It's the easiest place in the park to find twice, which makes it where most groups agree to meet up.
